Power Inverter
This DC to AC inverter is a power protection product aiming at
compact size and high power rating. The inverter provides 220V 50Hz
true sine wave output at a maximum 1% distortion for full load at
unity power factor. With a -48V input battery system, it meets with
the telecommunication practice and applies equally well to other
applications. The use of dual redundant inputs ensures AC backup
for extended period of mains supply failure, with hot swapping capability
to enhance easy battery maintenance. Facilities are provided for
remote status monitoring with time-event log and power On/Off control,
via a RS232C serial port. Full protection is provided for the inverter
and the battery system, and ensures undisturbed AC operation for
the external equipment.

Technology
IPPS™ stands for Integrated Power Protection System. It is
a 'smart' switching power supply with a built-in true on-line UPS
that fits inside a computer. It is an innovative product that eases
your worry of power failure. Utilizing the same space as a power
supply in your PC computer, it eliminates the need of external UPS.
It was nominated Best New Technology Award at the COMDEX/ Fall 1997
in Las Vegas.
Under normal power conditions, it performs as an efficient switching
power supply. When power is interrupted, it provides back-up time
to computer and monitor.

 IPPSCommander™
Lite
IPPSCommander™ Lite is the software bundled with the IPPS™
hardware. This MS-Window based system shows you the status of your
power supply and keeps a data log of occurrences of spikes, surges
and power interruptions. It out-performs the traditional UPS with
special user-defined actions, such as saving open files and shut
down the system automatically in case of power failure. It can also
send e-mail alert out to inform the user of the power problems.
